We will begin by taking detailed digital images of your bite with an intraoral camera, which can capture these images quickly and comfortably. We then combine them to create a 3D impression of your bite, one far more accurate than a traditional physical mold. Experts in a special lab setting will use the impression to design and craft a series of aligners from a clear and BPA-free acrylic material. Once your aligners are ready, you can start your treatment journey!
Invisalign® Treatment
Once we have crafted your custom aligners, we can start the treatment process! You will wear a set from the series for about 20 to 22 hours a day on average, for a period of two weeks. You then start wearing the next set in the series and continue to do so for the same amount of time, repeating the process as your smile is gently and gradually corrected. The entire process could take as little as one year, and require fewer office visits than braces. Since these are removable aligners, you can take them out before meals instead of altering your diet and avoiding certain items. Being removable also means a much easier time when you brush and floss, better protecting your smile, from tooth decay and gum disease during treatment. You can also take them out for special occasions, just make sure you wear them for the minimum amount of time we recommend.
