Now, you are ready to start treatment! Essentially, you will wear a set of aligners each day for about 20 to 22 hours, over the course of around two weeks. At this point, you then begin wearing the next set of aligners for the same amount of time. The process continues as each set brings your smile closer and closer to optimal alignment. In the meantime, you can remove your aligners before meals or prior to brushing and flossing, so they don’t have negative impacts on your daily routine. The orthodontics themselves are also easy to clean and use.
